Already in town Friday morning? Join us for a Haldi celebration — a joyful Indian pre-wedding ritual where turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom to bless them before the wedding. It's colorful, it's chaotic, and it's one of the most fun traditions of the weekend. Fair warning: you might get turmeric on you! Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
Join us Friday evening for the Sangeet — a traditional Indian pre-wedding celebration filled with music & dancing. Think of it as our wedding eve party. Guests are invited to watch or join in on choreographed dances, enjoy great food, and celebrate with family and friends from both sides. No experience required!
The morning kicks off with a Baraat — a traditional Indian groom's procession filled with upbeat music, dancing, and celebration as Rahul makes his way to the ceremony. We welcome all guests to join the procession as we parade down Prospect Street. Rahul and McKensie will then exchange vows in a traditional Hindu ceremony on the back lawn of La Valencia.
